Beware that unlike the best fish oils

For years now, governments and heart foundations have been recommending that we take a daily omega-3 supplement to improve our health, but how do we find the best fish oil and what makes it the best?



It is so important to select the right one and recently one of the world's leading omega-3 experts said that consuming more omega-3 fats is probably the single most important dietary change that most people could ever make to improve their health, with 9 out of 10 of us not receiving enough.

The best fish oils can make the difference between getting the full impact of benefits like prevention of heart attack and strokes, improved brain health and proper functioning, lowering of high blood pressure or hypertension and the effective treatment of arthritis or a much diluted version that doesn protect you.

However you should ensure your chosen fish oil has undergone molecular distillation to make sure there are no toxins like mercury and lead left, only pure concentrated oil in its natural or ester form. Beware that unlike the best fish oils, many are synthetic and not so easily absorbed by the body, reducing the health benefits considerably.

Make no mistake about it, with a flooded market it is essential to research a little before you buy to ensure you get nothing but the best fish oil, and if you follow these guidelines, you will be doing just that.
